The post PAN President and CEO Calls on You to Make Your Voice Heard appeared first on Parkinson's Action Network.
Ted Thompson, president and CEO of the Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN), recently contributed a post to the Research!America blog about the importance of the patient voice in public policy.
In the post, he calls on everyone to join “an exciting time for the future of health policy, accessibility, and delivery in this country.” Ted asked readers to take the community-wide Parkinson’s survey to inform the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) efforts after a recent Patient-Focused Drug Development meeting last month.
“Whether it’s taking the FDA survey, directly engaging with policy makers, or simply emailing your Members of Congress about health issues important to you, your voice can and will make a difference,” he wrote.
