The Parkinson’s Action Network (PAN) wants to thank everyone who donated to or participated in another successful Louisiana Walks for Parkinson’s on October 17.

From L to R: Physical Therapist Rich Baudry, PAN President and CEO Ted Thompson, Neurologist David Houghton, and Medtronic representatives Jerry White and Michael Guichard cook jambalaya at the 2015 Louisiana Walks for Parkinson’s event on October 17.
The New Orleans Parkinson’s community raised more than $80,000, surpassing their goal by nearly $30,000, and more than 600 people from Louisiana and beyond attended. The walk has been organized by PAN’s Louisiana State Director Michelle Lane, as well as a committee of dedicated volunteers. PAN’s president and CEO, Ted Thompson, also attended the walk and spoke to participants.
All funds raised will benefit the PAN Forum Scholarship Fund, which covers the cost of attending the PAN Forum in Washington, DC for hundreds of Parkinson’s advocates.
The PAN Forum will take place February 29-March 2, 2016. Learn more contributing to the PAN Forum Scholarship Fund through the Send Me To DC campaign.
